Notwithstanding the recent marriage announcement of Ayumi Hamasaki and Manuel Schwarz, former member of Morning Musume, and still a popular singer, tv personality, and idol, Mari Yaguchi has announced plans to marry her boyfriend of about a year, actor Masaya Nakamura.
Nakamura is 192cm (6’3″ or so) actor has something of a height difference with Yaguchi who is 144.8cm (4’9″).
An entry in Masaya Nakamura’s official blog today mentioned that he was surprised by the news, did not deny it, but stated that they had not yet finalized the details.
Yaguchi made similar comments in her official blog today as well.
