Executive Arrested for Junior High School Girl’s Naked Picture

The story in English on Mainichi can be found here:
“Exec arrested for saving naked photo of junior high school girl on his mobile phone”

It says the guy met the girl online (probably on one of the cell phone dating cites) then offered her a million yen to send him a photo. He got the photo first, then used that to threaten her into sending more. She is 13 years old.

Sometimes it’s helpful though to click the link at the bottom and check out the original story.

The girl was a first year junior high school student, so basically a 7th grader. The Japanese story says that she was naked from the waist up. He was also found to have responded to ads on bulletin boards advertising underpants for sale, as well as having school i.d. photos on his cell phone.

There’s no mention of how they got him… my personal guess is that he never paid, the girl got scared and went to a parent or teacher.

There are a lot of scary things about this kind of news story, but part of it is what happens to these kids if they actually get paid a million yen or a hundred thousand yen. Where does that money go and why don’t the parents get more suspicious or involved? Of course, I’m talking about the stories that the police don’t find out about.
