Lady Gaga recently showed up at an MTV Video Music Aid Japan event recently with her eyes closed the whole time. The pop star showed up wiearing sunglasses but surprised the crowd when she removed them. She had anime style eyes painted on her eyelids and did the entire press conference with her eyes closed showing those eyes. At several points during the conference, members of the Japanese media couldn’t help but laugh at which point Lady Gaga deadpanned as if there was nothing out of the ordinary.

I think she impressed a lot of people in Japan with her originality. Others, however thought she was just trying to get a reaction or even a laugh out of the crowd. she’s an interesting woman nevertheless.
